Meet the coach, Zara

Zara has been coaching for over 5 years, and is passionate about teaching others how using simple but effective mindfulness and calming techniques successfully boosts and promotes positive wellbeing and good mental health.

Zara has 'dot begin' Mindfulness training from the Mindfulness In Schools Project (MiSP), has a CPD certificate in 'Understanding Autism and Anxiety' from the AIW Consultancy, and has a Level 2 Cache Certificate in 'Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health' from Hereford College.

She also has extensive Safeguarding training, an enhanced DBS and an up to date 'Emergency at Work' First Aid Training.

Zara has a background in theatre and television, with a BA Hons Degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of London and is a trained LAMDA Speech and Drama teacher. She use these skills to make drama and play a fun and integral part of the work she does.

She works with schools, charities, churches and community centres to deliver Relaxation and Mindfulness classes to all ages including the elderly.

She also runs Parenting and Family workshops, and

is available to offer focussed family support.

She works closely with families in their homes providing 1:1 guidance, offering help with any area of concern be that anger issues, sleep problems, exam stress, anxiety, low self-esteem or learning to cope with a big life change.
