After the birth of my daughter in October 2017 I started my search for classes I could attend but found myself not being able to find the perfect class for me. Time was precious as my son was in school in the mornings and we seemed to run around after him in the afternoon! I was looking for a calming and stress free session where I could just simply enjoy the precious moments with my daughter, knowing how quickly these little moments fly!
I have recently relocated from Cardiff, where I was a Deputy Head Teacher of a large Primary school. I have taken a step back from the my teaching job to focus on being a mother to my young children for a while.
As a working mother, I understand the effects that busy lives have on parenting. Being the mother of an inquisitive four year old and a busy climbing one year old can feel overwhelming. Having spoken to other parents and reading on social media, it was reassuring that I wasn't alone. Many parents feeling a sense of isolation, lacking in the skills needed to fulfil their new roles. I was seeking a new challenge, it therefore seemed like an exciting opportunity to train as a Baby Mindful coach. I am now eager to share this.
In September 2018 I took the plunge and flew to Edinburgh where I completed my training. I spent the entire course crying, laughing and enjoying every single minute and now I hope that I can give the same experiences to other parents.
