I have over 20 years experience working with children. As a qualified counsellor I have worked extensively with children experiencing trauma/stress in their lives and gain great joy from supporting their lives through to a more peaceful place.
I trained in Relax Kids as the model fits very well with my ethos and own journey. The '7 steps to relaxation' incorporates movement, games, stretching, massage, breathing, affirmation and visualisation - all of which I have found helpful for myself and in my work with young people.
I am a mum myself and love it! There are challenges though and I've found the relaxation techniques I've learnt through Relax Kids to be really helpful to me as a parent too :-)
